How to track missed laptop

my lap top was stolen by some persons in bus,if thers is possibilities to find the laptop

It all depends on what sort of a laptop it was, what connectivity options it had in it.
Usually it could be traced, but we usually don't bother. So those systems that are used for tracing stolen laptops are pretty much not being used to their fullest thus, it's a painstaking job.
