How to transfer apps from galaxy phones

Hello,
How do you transfer existing apps from a samsung galaxy phone to the new samsung galaxy s3 phone? I heard Google has a procedure to transfer apps, but I can not locate this procedure at Google

appbak is a nice app, it just saves a file with all the apps you have installed in a list. Send the list to your new phone, open with appbak on it and re download all the apps you want back.

The most common method of transferring apps from one Samsung Galaxy phone to another is through USB cable.
Connect a USB cable to your old phone, choose USB mass storage mode and transfer all your desired apps to your hard drive, a new folder would be good. when you are finished with transferring all the files unplug the USB cable and attach it to your new phone and transfer the files onto it.
