How to turn on my acer computer when it wont come on

Turned my computer off, when tried to turn back on it won't come back on. And hasn't. Come on since yesterday. Is there anything I can do before taking to a store for help?

Disconnect the power supply. Remove the battery. Wait 1 minute.

Re-install battery, reconnect power supply.

Try again (powering on).
