I've been using on-demand subscription streaming for about a decade. I've been on SIX different services -- currently on Google's own All Access after being driven off the late MOG by the coming of the horrifically dumb Beats Music. (I'm also trying Spotify Premium -- and if Google is dumb enough to sink All Access for Songza -- I'll go to Spot -- but I very much prefer G's quirky but powerful play queue and user interface.
Maybe it's because I've been a music lover my whole life -- but I can't IMAGINE why someone would need to have some hack industry drone or intern stringing together a list of hype-target push product to have something to listen to.
I mean, I've got almost everything I might want to listen to available. I've got ears. Give me a search engine that can sift the available catalog properly and I'm good to go.
