Contrary to what this article says, you can watch the US version of The Voice anywhere from Australia with a VPN. Get the 7plus app or go to 7plus.com.au. They also have American Idol. You need to register and provide a "local" location, but hey . . . .you can figure it out. You may not find the app on the Play Store, as it's also geofenced, but you can side load it. Episodes typically appear the day after the US broadcast.
