How Well Will Sennheiser HD 598s Work On My Computer?

Hey guys, I recently bought a Sennheiser HD 598 since they were on sale and I'm a little tight on cash. I'm reluctant to go out and buy a DAC or an external sound card. The sound card I'm running is the Sound Blaster Recon 3Di in an alienware. Will I be able to enjoy the quality of these headphones without dropping more money on a DAC/external sound card? I know those components make it better but keep in mind that these are my first ever Sennheiser's and I am new to the world of headphones. My previous headphones were the Sony Pulse Elite's (which are gaming headsets so not really headphones). I know audio is subjective but I know you're all more experienced with this so I'd really appreciate any feedback or advice I can get.

Your sound card should be fine unless you need to set it at 75%+ volume which is when it can run into clipping problems. I've plugged my HD598 into my galaxy S4 and i didn't discern any major audio quality loss.
