HP 15- AY080nia RAM upgrade issue

I wanted to upgrade from 4GB to 12GB RAM. I m fond of Adobe products and issue i m facing is the performance of the machine. Anyone had an experience with it ? Let me know how it will improve my performance after this upgrade.
