HP 15-cc123cl or HP 15-bs132nr

I'm looking to gift a new laptop. The laptop will mostly be used for vinyl decal and t-shirt designs using Silhouette Studio software. The only real requirement is 1TB hd around the $500-600 area.

I'm looking at this HP from Costco which includes the 2 year warranty.

I'm also considering his HP from Microcenter. They have an extra 1 year warranty for $80 which includes drops and spills.

The user would not be savvy enough to fix any hardware issues so the warranty is somewhat important.

I think the HP 15-bs132nr is a better choice, This had DDR4 Ram, as the other has DDR3L
