Solved! Hp 4010 windows 7

I recently updated vista-64 bit to windows 7. my hp scanjet 4010 will not wirk

Download the 64 bit vista driver, install it, and then add the printer manually. Should do the job. I did a previous post on the issue in the Windows 7 forum, try searching there for further instructions.

There is a link at the HP site to 2007 drivers. You should download the software and driver package. i can't test this but I see no reason for it not to work.

that was the first solution I attempted to use. The software is not yet available from HP. i do apreciate you help.
