hp charger problems

I have a HP envy,when connected to power, the charging indicator shows orange and then goes off,it does this repeatedly, hence, the laptop doesn't charge. I have tried with other chargers and they worked.
What could be wrong with the charger and what can I do about it

If other chargers solve the problem then you need to replace that HP charger with a new one - - it's evidently faulty and cannot be repaired.
