Hp laptop not charging...new ac adapter and battery.

I have an hp notebook. Battery not charging. Got a new battery, not charging. Got a new ac adapter, not charging. Did system check, says ac adapter is not working. The light on the side turns on when pluged and started. Help.

you could check where the pins on the laptop connect to the battery for damage.

you can buy another ac adapter direct from the manufacturer. it is unlikely both batteries won't charge. you may have bought a bad knockoff adapter.

at that point like the charging port could be damaged or something else internally. most likely cheaper and/or more cost effective to buy a new laptop than to get it repaired at that point.
