HP Laptop shut it down now when I turn it on the lights blink including caps lock and screen stays black what do i do?

I was on a game and wanted to exit I pressed window to get to the page when you login with the squares didnt work and it froze (the game) so I turned of my PC from the power button and now when I turn it back on the caps lock button turns on and off and the screens does not turn onmti stays black and the power button stays on as well as the small thing near the F1 buttons it stays red they charged light won't flicker anymore when I charge it and if anyone knows how to fix it tell me very simply and in greet detail I know nothing about computers so if you can work me through the the process and have a good day

Fingers cross is just a corrupt bios that can be recovered. This can be done like this
■ make sure its turned off first
■ before turning on, hold down the windows key and B key down
■ now turn it on, keeping those 2 keys still pressed down
■ With in a few minutes 'bios recovery' should come up. You can then release those 2 keys.

This should work if the harddrive has a backup of the bios on it.

If this fails, reply with the number of flashs the caplock light dose in turn and we can then find out more.

I'm having a similar problem with my
8 months old hp envy x360 screen is black, fan is on, caps lock blinks three slow blinks then 5 quick blinks. Even when I close it the fan stays on. HELP!!!

Hello. I tried the hold down windows and b but it did not work. I have two white blinking lights at a time then a small pause. Pleeeaaasssseee helppp
