HP laptop will not power on at all!

I have an HP Envy x360 15T-W100 laptop and it will not power on at all!

I have tested the:

• 
  Battery (fully charged and working)
  RAM (removed and tried one stick at a time)
  Power button (works)
  Laptop charging adapter
  Laptop charging port

I have tried a hard reset multiple times, including the CMOS battery.

I am nervous that it is the motherboard as this is a $250-$300 part.

There must be something to this? Is motherboard component testing and/or repair feasible?

It was working perfectly... I went to sleep... then it wouldn't turn on anymore.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

It's Microsoft Windows 10 update that went wrong again. It happened on mine also taking out the (BIOS) software.

Do you have the same type of laptop? What update was it? Any idea? Any fix?
