Solved! Hp latop dv6 moussepad stopped working

Hello,
I bought a hp dv6 ;atop from US and after using it for six months suddenly its mousepad has stopped working. OS which is being used is windows 7

1. Uninstall the device and restart
2. reinstall the drivers
3. if that doesn't work check warranty
4. if you are under warranty send it back
5. if not you can take the laptop apart to make sure the ribbon is connected
6. replace if needed
