hp pavilian dv5 batterry wont charged just replaced battery and it was fine for a cp weeks now wont charge but works with powe

need to know how to solve this charge issue is it the actually charge part on motherboard brand new battery was taken charge then just stoped

Well, does the laptop work with just the charger cord? And will the battery charge if the laptop is off?

If both of these is 'yes' then it is probably your charger cord. While it may not seem damaged, it still can be. This can cause it to not be putting out enough power to both run the laptop and charge the battery.

I would suggest trying another charger cord and see if that resolves your problem.
