Have been given an old HP Pavilion dv6-standard machine. My friend was sold it by a good-natured community computer recycling merchant. He was told this computer would play Civ 6. He was told this computer was better than his computer Toshiba Satellite which he was having upgraded with an SD driveupon which we play Civ 6 hot seat.
Unfortunately it was not purchased in this city but the seller is available. Unfortunately I purchased Civ 6 from Steam on the basis of friends seller reassurance. After it would not install we realized ...unfortunately computer competence and money are not on my side otherwise I could just pay a tech to tell me if I can afford to upgraded after the cost of purchasing the game has already meet the criteria for gambling.
I have tried signing up to Gaming Debate website but it became apparent I would have to be able to talk about this computer. Specific knowledge of what the dv6 needs so that I can consider the cost consequences. Even decisive advice to cut my losses would help as this is now my only computer my one coincidentally died the evening before my friend purchased this one.
