Hp pavilion m6 1045dx won't turn on

I try to start my laptop.the power button and the network button lights for a second.then the laptop turn off.I have tried to remove battery and ac adapter,hold down the power button for 10 minutes but in vain.

Have you attempted to start with only the AC adapter plugged in (no battery)? I'll suggest trying that since it may be that the battery is bad
