Hp pavillion beats audio laptop

Hiya I've got a red ho beats audio laptop/notepad went to power it up this morning it was unplugged all night and probably went dead, put power lead in light indicates charging, press the on button light flashes but blank screen then the charging light goes out also. Have tried removing power lead and holding on button down nothing, unscrewed the back but couldn't remove cover without breaking so left it. Any help would be welcome thanks in advance..

P.s. I've now had the back off disconnected the battery and held in the power button for a minute connected back up still the same it's a notebook as well by the way lol
