HP pavillion DV5 entertaintment pc. doest power up at all!

i have my laptop since 2008 and its been working fine. it use to heat up a loot and the battery too. but it wokerked just fine until last month. now when plug in the power to the laptop only a tiny white light lights up but there is nothing more! i pres power butten nothing happens at all !! here is wat i have tried!

takken out battery and power suply. hold own power butten 30 sec and the put back in power suply didnt help!

changed power suply wire also didnt help!

any one knows wat part is the problem please help. if not does any one know how i can figure out wich part is the problem please?

need my laptop for school and dont have the buget to buy a new one!

Do the fans spin up? If so, does it work when connected to an external monitor?

nothing pwers up at all! no fans. no lights other than the batery light. nothing at all. i have hem opend up but dont no wat part i need to change! how do i know wich part isnt working any way i can test wich part to change?

try find any clos by enginr to change your power ic... thats your system problem
