The picture of the camera speaks for itself. The tech industry is so worried about advances in camera software and CMOS technology, that literally everyone forgotten that lens techology has been at a literal standstill for decades. Why have we not created lenses that provide better or at least equivalent magnification using fewer lens elements?? Existing telephoto lenses are way to bulky and a remnant of 20th Century tech. Where are those hypermodern liquid lenses that allow for both superwide and supertelephoto capabilities all in one package at a 3rd the length and weight of existing lenses? Very disappointing indeed.
