HTC Vive Factory Reset?

So I got a Vive 2 days ago and played it fine for a few hours. The next day I jump on to look at what I made on Google Tilt Brush and 5 minutes in my headset froze and said it wasn't tracking so I rebooted it. From then on I can only connect one controller at a time. If I connect and use a controller, turn it off, and try the other one, the second one connects fine.

I figured the crash caused the problem so I Windows restored to the previous night to a time that it was working and now when I plug in the Vive it isn't detected by the computer, along with the 2 controllers and lighthouses.

Is it possible to factory reset the vive or could/should I uninstall and reinstall SteamVR and/or the Vive setup install files. Does anyone know if HTC is addressing this issue? Is HTC quick at fixing errors, because this is kind of a disappointment

exact same thing happened to me with absolutely no resolve and no response from htc. its been nearly 2 weeks
