Huge frame drop in far cry 4

Hey guys, i have a GTX 880m that can handle far cry 4 on ultra with 40-50fps, but every time, the fps intantly drops from 40fps to less than 20fps, i just wana know if its because of the game or because of my GPU. Thx

the game is better optimized for ps4. Its ubisoft. I have 970 and I have drop frames problems too.

I have frame drops while driving, there's a know issue, a patch will come next week. Ubisoft delayed it.... and I have an R9 280 should handle to play it on ultra

I have r9 280 and having the same problem, what I did was I downloaded the most recent amd catalyst driver (still beta) and its optimized for far cry 4and dragon age;inquisition, I must admit that I experienced less lag spikes, but its still beta.
Also when I installed that beta driver I couldnt turn off Pc. I shut it down but it didnt turn off, its still beta..
