CPUTIN = CPU Temperature Index
AUXTIN = Auxiliary Temperature Index
SYSTIN = System Temperature Index

CPUTIN is different from CoreTemp. CoreTemp is the sensor on the processor while CPUTIN is motherboard CPU temp sensor.
AUXTIN is the power supply temp sensor if there is one. While SYSTIN relates to Motherboard.
=====
TMPIN 0 = MOBO = SYS
TMPIN 1 = CPU
TMPIN 2 = MCH = Northbridge
TMPIN 3 = Sensor near GPU/VRMs

Not sure about TMPIN values, i could be wrong.

I'm glad this question was asked because I'm confused too about how to interpret the readings. I wish there is some manual somewhere.

I'm having similar temperature indicators as Sedona has for my Asrock 990FX Extreme3 board, but no TMPIN2 which should be NB-CPU for my Phenom 1090T. Can I assume that for my motherboard the TMPIN3 holds the NB temperatures..?

[EDIT]

Also worth to note that on my system the AUXTIN actually drops in temperature when I create more load. Somehow I guess this isn't supposed to happen :D

What is the more important when checking for system stability CPUIT or core temp? my CPUIT is reading at 44 celcius during the stress test I'm running now but core temp is at 84 I have my CPU fan set to run at 100% if it reaches higher than 75 but it is only at about 60%
