Hyline speaker info

Can someone please tell me if my five Hyline speakers are digital or analog? There is no serial number. You can see pics on Kijiji

Those speakers require a surround sound receiver to operate since they do not contain any amplifiers to drive them.
You can say they are analog but in this case the answer isn't relevant since you can't hook them directly to a digital or analog source.

Thank you american audiophile for your explanation. I received these five speakers as a gift so I will connect them via the banana plugs to a yet-to-be purchased Marantz 1605 amplifier. The wires alone will set me back $250.

$250 for wires? That seems very high, what are you planning on getting?
