HyperX Cloud headset

Hello guys, I've just bought a pair of these headphones, the HyperX Clouds's, and besides using them on my PC, I will use them a lot on my PS4. From my understanding, the controller doesn't give out the full power these headphones require. If I purchase the Turtle Beach DSS/DSS2 would these headphones get their full potential? Thank you.

Everywhere from reviews to people's personal experience. Not much on the topic of them being used with a DSS2, however. The PS controller is only wireless bare in mind so I doubt it could power the headphones to the max.
