I am not able to open any website other than google and facebook in my dell laptop

I have a dell laptop and windows 8.It is connected to wifi and for the past 3 days I am not able to open any of the websites other than google and facebook. I tried it in other browsers too but I get the same result.

You need to go to a third-party site like imgur and upload it there - we don't host files.

Can you ping the site you can't access?

@moderator-I am not able to access any sites other than google and facebook. I read in an another post that another user was suffering from similar problem. The link is given below.

I tried installing malwarebytes to scan the laptop. As it was mentioned in the post,der were threats in the google chrome extension. And also added to that I am not able to open Mc Afee antivirus nor run it.I even tried uninstalling google chrome,mozilla firefox and Opera browser and installing google chrome again. I am still not able to access any of the websites.

You're running McAfee? If you try to disable or uninstall it, I think stuff will start working.

I said to ping it. That means to open a command line, and type 'ping example.com', then hit enter.
