I am trying to connect my TV to my VHS/ DVD player but keeps saying no signal.

Got a sceptre TV, but no cable trying to connect VHS/DVD player to but keeps on saying no signal.

From the tv remote select the iput or source to match that of the vcr/dvd. I assume its hdmi or rca cables.
If its connect to the cable jack then you need to set the source to the tuner and select the right channel (usually 2 or 3)
