Hello guys, next month I would like to buy a new gaming laptop.
There are many possibilities because i can't decide what will suit for me the most.
1. HP Omen 17'' FHD, GTX 1070, 7700HQ, 120Hz G sync (1850eur)
2. Lenovo Y910 17'' FHD, GTX 1070, 6820HK, 75Hz G sync (1500eur)
3. At mysn.de, there are many laptops and here is my main question. Worth to invest more than 2000eur into laptop with i7 8700/GTX 1070???
This laptop will be used only for games/university/job. Im not any kind of developer, programmer, engineer or something similar.
i wanted to order some Sager laptop but taxes and duties are too high even if i order one to Canada where my family lives.

I would go for the omen laptop as it seems to have very good specs and an excellent display. Mobile coffee lake chips aren't a huge step up from kaby lake in terms of gaming performance

Alienware is too expensive, about 2700eur if i want gtx 1070...so nope....asus GL702vs (in my opinion) it looks too cheap/752vs is great with amazing cooling power (2500eur)....want to stay somewhere near 2000eur...
Ive never had any lenovo laptop....and in reviews I've read that y910 is very loud while gaming...im lil bit scared from it.
MSI laptops don't have G-sync, only 120Hz (models I've seen up to 2000eur).

Thats what i wanted to hear (''read'') :D
Ye from what ive seen.....that Omen looks like the best one (https://www.alza.sk/omen-by-hp-17-an016nc-shadow-black?dq=4981592&o=6) i guess u won't be able to understand the language, but there are all specs...
I wasn't able to decide if 7700HQ will be good enough for example for 3 years from now...Also if 1070 will be powerful enough after 3 years for 1080p gaming...(one of the reasons i want G-sync included)
So if i miss i7 8700 i won't be sad for gaming right? :)

Trust me this laptop won't have any problems with games even 4 years from now, provided you take care of it (check for malware, dont drop it, occasionaly clean it etc.). There are barely any laptops with 8700hq out right now and they all cost an absurd amount. If you don't mind waiting 3-4 months for the prices to got down a little bit it might be worth it.
