Hello,
i bought toshiba but does not include the recover disk, but it has window 7 installed. what if i have to format my hard drive?

Nowadays when you buy a laptop or computer it will not come with a recovery disk. Actually, it has been like this for several years; at least for most laptops/computers. For example, my IBM ThinkPad T40 from 2003 does not have a recovery disk.

The "recovery disk" is on a hidden partition of the hard drive. You need read through the instructions that came with your laptop to find out how to do a fresh reinstall of Windows 7. For example, if I wanted to reinstall Windows XP on my ThinkPad I would have to press the "Access IBM" button, and then to the appropriate option.

Hmmm... yes, read the manual to see how your specific recovery partition is accessed.

also check though ur start menu for something that says "create recovery disk" which should make a bootable manufacture specific reinstall disk set. could be under the assist program or manufacture specific info/help section
