I can not get passed the login screen. It keeps loading and that is it.

Windows 7? Windows 8(.1)? Upgraded to Windows 10 recently? Or Chrome OS or Linux?

Please give us some specifics. If you're running Windows 7 or newer, you may need to run a startup repair or try logging in as another user.

go into safe mode
run msconfig
check boot startup
