cant seem to get volume to work tried going into control panel on volume settings tried to slide volume control up but wont can anyone help

Hmm... Are you on Windows 7?
What is the model of your laptop? If you can me the model, then I can search for a driver for the audio.

if it is windowsXP, there should be an application in the accesories bar in the start menu, then you can drag it (once you find it) to the desktop to acces it easier. also if you are on a desktop, if you dont have external speakers it may just be that you dont have a built in one. As hpfreak said, noone can really help unles we know what coputer it is.
