I can't find my CD drive on my Acer e 15 touch

I have looked everywhere on my Acer e 15 touch and can't figure out how to open my CD drive. Please help.

The drive is on the right-hand side of the laptop and there should be a small button to open the drive.

Well, if the side of your laptop doesn't have the DVD and RW symbols on it like the picture are you sure you have a CD/DVD drive?

Open up My PC and see if there's a CD/DVD drive listed.

Well, Best Buy workers don't have to be the smartest of people to work in the computer department.

Open up "This PC" and see if there's a CD/DVD drive listed. If there isn't one listed you clearly don't have a CD/DVD drive.

Yes, it's Best Buy, they do have a refund policy.

If there's a CD/DVD drive listed, double click the icon and it'll open the drive.

Open My Computer and double click the icon for the optical drive.

I just got an Acer e 15 today, and I also got a few computer games to play on it, but I don't know where the cd spot is on the computer. There is a spot on it where the cd spot should be, but it won't open at all.

Optical drives in laptops are becoming more and more the exception since most of the tasks performed by an optical drive are now done through streaming or USB jump drives - looking up an Acer E15 on amazon found the following statement "DVD Drive Sold Separately" found here http://www.amazon.com/Acer-ES1-511-C59V-15-inch-Celeron-Windows/dp/B00K2O4TI8 on the same line as "500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive"

There is no cd drive, you must install one. The slip you see is just black I assume which mine has as well. trying to install a drive now by myself but having troubles as well.

If you read the thread, you will see that no button mean there isn't a dvd/cd drive.
