Solved! I can't get my laptop to use the GPU, It default to intel graphics

I have an Acer nitro an515-52, I reinstalled windows due to some personal reasons, I installed all the drivers (installed through geforce experience) and i can access the NVidia control panel though it only has 3 options. The GPU is detected in Device Manager and the bios does not show any settings related to Graphics.Please help.
