I deleted acer bloatware on my acer aspire a315 laptop and then i noticed my touchpad cursor is gone

So i was cleaning up my laptop from bloatware and deleted acer bloatware through "add or remove programs" function on windows. i deleted the following: acer collection, acer configuration manager, acer quick access, acer UEIP framework, bonjour, and vulkan rune time libraries. How can i get my cursor back for my touchpad? it just dissapeared and i tried restarting the computer but it didnt work. system restore also failed for some reason. thank you.

I hope you did create recovery media before your cleanup. Or Go to Acer web [strike]soye[/strike] site and look for drivers.

It's always good to know what you're deleting, before you delete it.

It's also always good to have a backup.

The touchpad drivers sometimes are mistaken by all the bloatware software the laptops are preloaded with (been there, got a T-shirt).
Usually the drivers are called "Acer PTP" (meaning Acer Precision Touch Pad).

Connect an external mouse so you can open a web browser and look for the drivers on the Acer website.

I've found the drivers for the family of your model (A315) could be:

If not, google the exact model. Next time, leave the "PTP" entry alone
