I dropped my Acer Aspire E1-521 Laptop

Solution
Yep, the most likely casualty after dropping a laptop is the hard drive, hence the error message.

New hard drive required.

It is just possible that the hard drive has simply become loose in it's mounting bay, thereby causing a bad connection, so might be worth checking that first, but it's a long shot. Actual drive damage is more likely.

If you have an hdd in your laptop, your hdd is HIGHLY LIKELY to be broken. Please take care of your devices, and get a new drive.

Yeah unless you hdd is smaller than its bay, it has almost no chance in getting lose (if there is a few centimeters of gap maybe.) and depending on the angle, a few other things might have gone bye bye.
