I get a message from Android: "Couldn't pair with ........because of an incorrect PIN or passkey

I have made many attempts to pair my Android cell phone with my new Smart Watch but, once the pairing attempt is done, I get a message on the Android saying: Couldn't pair with ......because of an incorrect PIN or passkey. I'm frustrated! What else can I do?

Go through the watches settings or the accompanying paperwork and find that passkey
