Have you tried plugging the phone into a computer, via USB, and searching the phone from there? It is quite a bit faster and can search more areas. You just need to know say the start name of the image/images or the extension. As in search for all *.jpg or *.png etc

When you find pics can you put tghem back into gallery under my new phone number

I would not be able to do anything with your photos. You would have to do that yourself.

However, once you have located them, you can choose where you want them to be on the phone.
