I have a dell inspiron 1536 lap top. When I turn in on it stalls almost immediately. I have to manually turn the computer off and try again. Sometimes it takes six or more attempts.

What is the problem? Please help !!

how long are you waiting before you turn it off?

it could be it is not detecting the HDD
