i have a left and right speaker can i connect it to my tv

I had a sony music system pretty old which broke down. Could i still use the left and right speakers and connect it to my tv. Like rca cable to speaker wire.

No. You still need an amplifier if the TV doesn't have bare-wire speaker terminals. If it only has RCA ports you need an amplifier.
