I have a lenovo ideapad but there is not any ejject button how can I open the drive

I have a lenovo ideapad 320 and want to open the DVD drive but there is not any ejject button. How can I open it now

In Windows Explorer you can right-click on the drive and select 'Eject'.

the pictures of the laptop show a button. what happened to yours?

if windows explorer does not eject it, you can straighten out a paper clip and push into the little hole on the front of the drive. this will manually eject the drive. it is not ideal long term of course but it will let you get out whatever may be in it now you want to get at.

Are you sure you have DVD drive at all? On some models, it is just a cover for the bay, with the drive itself being an optional feature.

Usually they are just push and release to open.

You may be right. Mine does not have dvd on This PC just the C drive. Looks like its empty. But why would that be like that?

The post gave the answer, not all laptops come with a drive installed.
