I have a Luminar 800 projector and I cant get any sound out I have a red and white connector but still no sound, help please

I don't think that projector has an audio output so you can't connect powered speakers or a soundbar to it.
You could get the audio from your source.
You could get an HDMI input selector with audio extraction. That will provide an fixed level audio output in analog and digital usually from more than one source.
