i have a metro pcs phone its the ZTE max pro and would like to unlock it but havnt had metro service for more than 90 days, is

Me from Portland, OR. I have the same phone and it was not until 10/6/17, that my phone was unlocked...after 120 plus days. The reason being that the Device Unlock app failed. It was not until MPCS unlocked the phone remotely via OTA and this happened without my knowing that they had done this. No codes, no explanation, no action my part. Just unlocked it and did not tell me that they had done this. Finally,........I tried the Device Unlock and this time it worked. I rebooted the device and put in a new Tracfone SIM card. After repeated emails, store contacts and the Oregon Public Utility Commission was action taken, but no explanation was given. One day, the Device Unlock simply worked. Pay your 90 day service on time. As far as the comment was made that this is their rule, it is. Just wait. I use the former MPCS phone with Tracfone. JPG, Portland, OR
