I have a proel v12a active speaker.

When I plug my laptop into my active speaker I get a lot of muffled noise with music. How can I program my laptop to sound right on this speaker.

What speaker and sound card are you using?

It sounds fine with Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 and YouTube but on movies the music plays but actor vocals can't be heard.

Are you using an internal optical drive (DVD, CD) to play the movies?

Is the optical drive set for your region/area? Could be some anti-piracy technique.

Device manager should tell you what sound card is in use. Maybe a driver update is needed.
