I have a sony str dh750 receiver but when I try to change the audio settings, it won't save the settings

I have a sony str dh750 receiver but when I try to change the audio settings, it won't save the settings. I go to settings, then HDMI settings, then to HDMI audio out , then select TV & amp
but when I turn the receiver off, these settings are not saved.

I checked another forum and found the answer. I just changed the HDMI control setting from on to off
