You don't need a USB port for a Roku, you need a HDMI port.

Unless you have a ROKU that uses USB for power, but newer versions have a power adapter included.

If there's an older model without that, then you want an AC device that has a 5V USB connection that matches your USB cable.

You still need HDMI unless you are using an older input such as Component, and if you don't have enough HDMI connections you can get an HDMI SWITCH from Monoprice or other store.

I have one that just chooses between TWO HDMI inputs; it's not powered, though more than two and you need a powered one perhaps with a remote control.

Just FYI, but USB connectors on TV's simply act as a storage device like on a computer. The HDTV would use its own software to read and play compatible files on a USB stick.

Not sure what ROKU model you have but there's no USB input, only USB for power on the little Roku sticks.
