I have i3, Ram 4gb nd intel hd 4200. can I run battlefield 3?

That laptop will not be capable of playing Battlefield 3, unless you're looking to play at 800x600 resolution, with everything on absolute minimum, along with the framerate of an interactive slideshow.

The HD4200 is meant more so for general usage, or light gaming applications that are not demanding.
