I have old photos on cds. Can I see them on my inspironlaptop?

I have an inspiron laptop and i would like to see some photos i have on a cd. can i see them on my laptop?

Unknown. Depends on how the files were written (copy, backup software, etc) and what format the images are in.

Also depends on age. Some of the materials used in early CD-Rs were notorious for deteriorating rather quickly, and data disappearing in less than 10 years. There's a ton of error-correction coding built into the CD format, so to actually lose data this quickly means the deterioration started occurring probably a few years after the CD-R was burned.

Also, there were a fair number of proprietary formats for photos on a CD.
Photo-CD for instance.
