I have s sprint iphone 5s need to unlock it

I have a sprint iphone 5s and was wanting to know how to unlock it without going to sprint. We called sprint and they will not unlock the phone. We got the phone off a guy on craigslist and he told us it was through att we went to att and they said it was not their phone to contact apple apple said it was sprint. I have tried numerous unlock cards and they dont work. Everything goes alright til trying to activate and it says sims card not supported

They said it was reported stolen but i think they just said that instead of unlocking the phone cause we didnt want to go through them for service provider

you should contact apple to see if it is stolen.
