I just purchased a Precision M4800, soon after it booted, started to make rattling noise coming from the left upper corner, this went away after few hours but the noise comes on when the computer is powered off, any one has a clue? dell tech support wants to log in and do diagnostics, how will they fix a noise issue logging remotely?

If you bought it locally just take it back. Otherwise just let Dell do what it needs to do to warranty exchange the thing.
