No, you are wasting their time by reporting something stolen, that you lost.

If you lost it you are s.o.l. Police cant do much unless you report it stolen then they can do something if someone tries to sell it (pawn it). The carrier you are with can black list it the so no one can use it especially if you are on a contract so they dont run up a bill.
